The Skill Behind Acupuncture for Wellness
About Me
More Than Treatment. A Commitment to Helping People Feel Better TODAY.
I’m Casey J. Castona, L.Ac., M.S.O.M., the practitioner behind Acupuncture for Wellness. For more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of working with people from many different walks of life, helping them find another path toward greater health, comfort, balance, and quality of life.
Over the years, I’ve learned that helping someone is about much more than treating a symptom.
It begins with listening.
Every person who walks through my door has a different story, different experiences, and different reasons for seeking care. Pain, injury, stress, headaches, digestive concerns, mobility challenges, or simply feeling like something in their body isn’t quite right can affect far more than the physical body. It can affect how we work, sleep, move, think, connect with others, and experience life.
That is why I believe in looking at the whole person—not just the problem.
My education and clinical experience in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, combined with my background in nutrition, have given me the opportunity to bring together different perspectives when developing an individualized approach to care. I don't believe there is a single treatment that works exactly the same way for everyone. Each person deserves to be understood as an individual.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work has been helping people better understand their own bodies.
I want my patients to leave not only feeling cared for, but also more informed and empowered. When people understand what may be contributing to the way they feel and are given practical tools to support their own health, they become an active part of their wellness journey.
Throughout my career, I have worked with people seeking support for many different concerns, including pain and injuries, headaches, musculoskeletal issues, stress, digestive concerns, recovery, mobility, and overall wellness. Patients have shared experiences of improvements in comfort, movement, energy, and quality of life.
But beyond the conditions and symptoms, what I remember most are the people.
The conversations. The trust. The small victories. The moments when someone begins moving more freely, sleeping better, feeling more like themselves, or simply realizes that they have another option to explore.
Those moments are why I have continued doing this work.
The feedback I have received from patients over the years has meant more to me than I can easily put into words. Being described as thorough, compassionate, educational, and someone who truly listens is deeply meaningful because those are qualities I have always wanted my practice to represent.
My Philosophy
At Acupuncture for Wellness, I believe healthcare should begin with a person feeling heard, respected, and understood.
Acupuncture is more than placing needles. It is about taking the time to understand the individual, considering the many factors that may influence how someone feels, educating patients about their bodies, and creating a thoughtful approach to supporting their health.
I don't promise a quick answer or a one-size-fits-all solution but you will feel a change in the first treatment.
What I offer is my experience, my education, my commitment, and my willingness to listen.
After more than 20 years of serving different communities, I remain genuinely grateful for every person who has trusted me with their care. Every patient has taught me something, and every journey has been a reminder of why I chose this profession.
My goal has always been simple:
To help people feel heard.
To help them better understand their bodies.
To provide another avenue toward wellness.
And, whenever possible, to help them get back to doing the things that make life meaningful.
Because ultimately, wellness isn't simply about being free from symptoms. It's about having the ability to live, move, participate, and enjoy life to the fullest.
That is what Acupuncture for Wellness means to me.
It is not just about treating the person who walks through the door.
It is about caring for the person behind the symptoms.
